I had no idea it was a dessert place when I first saw it. I don't know why, but the whole presentation seemed so Japanese to me.
It was a pretty cool place, especially that cool hang chair. I couldn't help but to sit in it, but I quickly moved over to the high chairs since it was just too low and made me feel so little.
 Ha!

Service & Hygiene:
No issues with hygiene from what I could see. Service was good. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful as they bring out your orders to where you're sitting at, even the cone!
Also, although they had bottled water for sale and no cups sitting out, I asked for some water and they gladly gave me some.

Taste & Value:
This place has a pretty unique menu, offering some traditional Japanese sweets along with ice cream. However, I was still a bit full from lunch so the plan was to just get a matcha ice cream cone, but after seeing the Affogato($38) on the table next to me, I changed my mind and my friend had the Matcha ice cream cone($28)

My friend found her Matcha ice cream very filling so I had to help her out finishing it.
I don't think I've had ice cream this dense before, no wonder she found it so filling. However, it was amazing! It was so rich, thick and creamy!! I LOVED IT!
I thought it was better than that other place that is known for matcha ice cream.

After a while, mine finally came. Affogato means "drowned" in Italian, but I was in such a rush to eat this baby that instead of drowning my ice cream, I drowned the table with espresso,  so to all of you out there, please pour it out slowly and don't flood the table like I did. Lesson learnt.
Luckily, the damage wasn't bad, as you can see, I still had plenty to drown my ice cream with.
I like espresso based drinks, but I don't really like drinking espresso itself. However, the sweetness of that thick creamy ice cream balanced the taste of the espresso; they were perfect together. The ice cream was the key I believe, but of course the espresso had to be good for this to be another amazing dessert.
For $38, I got coffee and ice cream, what more could I ask for.
